As reported by the press center of "Ukrgazvidobuvannya", in the first quarter of 2004, "Ukrgazvidobuvannya", the parent company of which is "NAK Naftagaz Ukraini", generated 15.8 million kilowatt hours of eletricity at the Lokachi Gas Deposit in the Volyn region of Ukraine.

The production of electricity at the Lokachi site is done with the help of modern power generation technology from BSI Industries, Inc. (Clarification: BSI is not the manufacturer of this technology. BSI provided engineering services and the procuremnt of technology, equipment and materials).

The realization of these projects, according to company representatives, will allow for an annual production of 300 million kilowatt hours; this would cover all of the company's electricity needs nationwide.
