Development, Engineering Services, and Technical Translation for the Replacement of Thirty Five (35) GTUs with Cooper-Rolls Coberra 6000 Units for Various Gazprom-Owned Compressor Stations in the Russian Federation.
Project Goal: From 1993 - 1994 Russia's Gazprom conducted negotiations with foreign companies, including Cooper-Rolls, to organize the replacement of GTN-25 gas transmission units (GTU) with Coberra 6000 GTUs. To conduct a tender, it was necessary to evaluate and correct thousands of pages of text, schematics and drawings to reflect currently applied standards and requirements. As well, this documentation had to be translated into English. BSI's highly-qualified specialists, having extensive knowledge of U.S. and Russian standards, fulfilled these tasks.
Location: Various compressor stations in the Tyumen, Orenburg, Saratov and other regions of the Russian Federation
Client: Cooper-Rolls (US-UK) and RAO Gazprom (Russian Federation)
Project Scope: Development tasks and design, including an environmental study, hydraulic calculations, preliminary design, technical and organizational negotiations with Gazprom's management, consulting and translation services, project documentation needed for the replacement of 35 existing GTN-25 GTUs with Coberra 6000 GTUs by Cooper-Rolls.
