Feasibility Study For the Reconstruction of the Poltoratskoe and Akyrtobe Underground Gas Storages in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Project Goal: The Poltoratskoe and Akyrtobe Underground Gas Storages play a key role in the stabilization of gas supply to the southern regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Because of the obsolete and worn-out main process equipment at the storage facilities (built in the 1960s and 1970s), KazTransGaz, the operator of these gas storages, has decided to renovate the gas storages and to replace the process equipment. This will result in increased efficiency and increased production from the wells.

Location: The Republic of Kazakhstan (southern regions)

Client: AO KazTransGaz, U.S. Trade and Development Agency

Project Scope: Basic and detailed design, including process schematics, material balances, P&IDs, assembly drawings, equipment, automation, electric facilities, environmental impact report, etc. Full set of working documentation (construction, mechanical, automation, electric, etc.).
