Personnel Training

As part of our collaboration with our partners, BSI Industries, Inc. invites international specialists to study American technology, standards, and business practice. In return we are able to learn more about international systems and business practice. We value this collaboration, as it is extremely helpful in the fulfilling of international projects. Engineers, having studied with us, are utilized in project work with the coordination of our partners.

In 1991 BSI and the VNIPItransgaz Design Institute created the joint venture Intertech, which is focused on the training of Ukrainian engineers on the basics of the American system of standards, business organization and management. Today these engineers play an active role in joint projects with the participation of BSI Industries, Inc. and VNIPItransgaz.

In collaboration with the Russian Joint Stock Company Spetstroimontazh, BSI Industries, Inc. established the joint venture Industriya whose aim is to train Russian specialists and to introduce Russian industry to the ASME standards for high-pressure containment vessels and piping.

BSI Industries, Inc. conducted training of specialists from the Frunze Machine Construction Complex in Sumy, Ukraine for work in coordination with American standards and norms. BSI also worked as a consultant for the Frunze complex, aiding them in receiving ASME certification.

With Dresser-Rand, BSI Industries, Inc. organized the training of Uzbek specialists. The training program included a visit to The Dresser-Rand facility in New York where the assembly of compressor units is done, and a visit to Texas where instrumentation equipment is produced. The program of classes was set up to combine an intensive format of technical classes with cultural and recreational activities.
